Alexis has a passion for helping families and ensuring they take one step closer to achieving their goals.

Alexis has worked in the industry for over 5 years, helping clients from all different walks of life. She is always on standby to hold your hand, answer any questions you have and get greater control of your finances. She has completed a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Financial Planning.

Some of her career highlights to date include:

Helping a first-time home buyer get onto the property ladder, buying a home that would then become an investment property,
Guiding a young family on how to continue the family tradition of getting their children into investing,
Giving a couple the green light to hand in their resignation and make work optional.

Alexis and her partner have been investing in property and shares for several years. Outside of work, you will find Alexis on her family’s farm with her Kelpie, Knox.

Advisers

Good advice can be truly life changing. Maybe you had a parent tell you to get on the property ladder in your 20s? Perhaps you had a teacher who saw you weren’t interested in a class and encouraged you to find another path?

If there’s something you’d like to do, find a person that has done it before or learnt about it previously and ask them about it. Financial Advisers and other Mentors are crucial to partner with to help you get the most out of yourself.

Dealing with big institutions can be such a chore! Have you ever sat on hold for an hour to get an unsatisfactory outcome? Mortgage Brokers, Commercial Finance Brokers and Insurance Brokers are worth their weight in gold - not only because they act as an intermediary between your family and the big companies, but they also speak their language.

Provider ABC might have a terrible product, Provider XYZ might have hidden fees and charges. Save yourself the hassle of comparing and trying to understand the nuances of the products in your spare time and outsource to the experts!

Lawyers

Hopefully your dealings with lawyers are kept to a minimum, but they are an integral element of your tribe to ensure that all of your wishes are established and enacted in accordance with the law.

Estate Lawyers are highly recommended to all of the families we work with, but there may also be a need to collaborate with Property Conveyancers, Commercial Lawyers, Family Lawyers or other niche experts for your situation.

Accountants

No matter how much you enjoyed maths in school, the fact is that numbers will play a major role in your life. If you don’t have a firm control of your numbers, then you’ll be leaving money on the table and the ATO or someone else will be there to benefit.

Partner with an Accountant if your tax return is anything above ‘basic’ and if you’re running a business, a Bookkeeper can save you a tonne of time and money throughout the year.

Agents

Unless you plan on living off the grid in a caravan, you’re going to need to work with Real Estate Agents, Buyer’s Agents and Property Managers. Property will likely be one of your most important assets throughout your life and it stands to reason that you need some professionals on your team to find the right place and to manage it over time if being a landlord is your kind of thing.
